Edinburgh historians, storytellers and locals who have spent their lives among these closes and cobbles. These are the people who will walk you through the city.

Tony was born and bred in Edinburgh and has been working in Edinburgh tourism and tours for over 20 years. When he is not managing the tours and team, he takes any chance to jump on as a guide and lead them himself.
Tony has a passion for all things Edinburgh history. He has worked at four of Edinburgh's top attractions and even has his own social media channels dedicated to Edinburgh history and facts.
When he is not talking about Edinburgh, he is busy entertaining as a presenter on Edinburgh's own classic track radio station, Edge 2, every Tuesday and Wednesday night.

Originally from England, Emma grew up in South-West Scotland near the Martyrs' Stake, hearing tales of kirkyard ghosts, wild witchcraft and local legends. Thanks to her flaming red hair, she has occasionally been mistaken for one of the witches herself.
Moving to Edinburgh to study mathematics, Emma soon discovered that the city's history was far less predictable than numbers. A published author with a passion for storytelling, she loves bringing Edinburgh's colourful characters, mysteries and hidden histories to life.
When she's not on the Royal Mile, you'll usually find her tucked away with a book, writing stories of her own or hunting down Edinburgh's next fascinating tale.

A lifelong Edinburgh resident, Johnny has been doing tours up the Royal Mile since 2023 and knows the city back to front. He has studied English and Film at Edinburgh Napier University, has a passion for the history of the city, and has performed numerous times at the Edinburgh Fringe festival.
Johnny always says he is happy to talk about anything Scottish (except Outlander, unless bribed).

Ali was born in Aberdeen and has since spent much of her life travelling the world, collecting countries like magnets along the way. After years of exploring different cultures and destinations, she returned to Scotland to complete her studies in Event Management.
Through her travels, Ali developed a passion for touring, storytelling, and uncovering the rich history behind the places she visits. She now enjoys sharing that enthusiasm with others, bringing Edinburgh's streets and stories to life through engaging and memorable experiences.

Jack was born and raised in Edinburgh and has spent his life exploring the city's streets, stories, and hidden corners, and is excited to share them with visitors from around the world. Although new to professional tour guiding, his passion for Edinburgh runs deep.
Having worked in hospitality, Jack loves helping people experience the city through its culture, local flavours, and welcoming atmosphere. Whether it's recommending a great place for a dram, pointing out a favourite café, or sharing local insights, he enjoys helping visitors get the most out of their time here. When not in the city, you'll usually find him outdoors with his dog, rock climbing, mountain biking, or making the most of Scotland's incredible landscapes. He believes the best tours combine local knowledge with genuine enthusiasm, and looks forward to helping you discover what makes Edinburgh such a special place.
